OPEK 102-SSWA - 102" Stainless Steel Whip Element for CB Antenna

102 inch antennas are used primarily by CB Radio Operators but is also a good choice for Ham Radio Operators operating on the 10 meters band.

This antenna whip can be modified to work on the 10-meter ham radio band as a 1/2-wave base antenna by removing about 8 or 9 inches with a hacksaw. As a 10-meter antenna it requres no antenna tuner to use with your radio.  It can handle whatever power your ham radio / amplifier cab legally drive.  You can also use two these antenna whips to construct a rotatable dipole.
