UHF Connector Protective Dust Cover - Rain Cap
Our high-quality G510 weather cap helps protect your UHF mount from the elements. Screws onto existing UHF (SO-239) base and keeps moisture, dirt and grime away. Idea for when you temporarily remove your antenna or when going through a car wash. You will often find these caps on 'go kits' / 'go-boxes' for field deployment of valuable radio equipment.

I will keep on buying. Thanks, KC2FRE - 73
Exactly what i was looking for. Heavy duty and made to last.
Perfect. Exactly what I needed!
I checked numerous sites and companies. My first time with American Radio Supply. Here is what I liked. Very user friendly website, found it easy to find what I wanted. Best price for product and for shipping. After I ordered I received emails alerting me to every step of the process. Package arrived in great shape, very securely boxed and protected. Product was exactly what i was looking for.
These caps are the best quality I have seen. These are made of metal and have a rubber gasket to keep the elements out of an uncovered antenna mount. These are of excellent manufacture and fit perfect. These are much better that the plastic covers found elsewhere.
Nice solid caps that keeps connector dry. Good for when I use the car wash.
Excellent Rain Caps. Very good product.
I only operate on the Amateur Bands via JT-65, JT-9, PSK31 and some CW so I seldom use a microphone and as I don't even have the microphones attached to several VHF/UHF & HF radios on my bench, these protective caps were a natural to cover up the mic interfaces. In fact, they make the bench look rather nice. l Glad I bought them.
These caps are surprisigly useful for amateur radio equipment. They are the same size as the 239 connector on the back, or the microphone plug on the front of most rigs. If you are a CW only operator, you can use one to cover the microphone plug and store your microphone away. If your HF rig has multiple SO-239 connectors on the back and you are only using one, you can cover the other connectors with these to keep them clean. If you are using a rig in the field, you can use these to cover the plugs to prevent dirt or damage during transportation or field use. If you do DXpeditions, you can use these to help prevent corrosion to unused plugs. I bought a large bag to use, and will share spares with friends and fellow club members.
