This round 8-pin microphone connector, commonly known as GX16-8P, is a 16mm threaded circular "aviation-style" connector. Often referred to as a mobile CB microphone connector, it features 8 pins in a threaded locking shell used for securing microphones to radios. It is widely used for HF base and mobile radios, with a metal-bodied connector featuring a screw-on locking ring to secure it to the transceiver's microphone jack.
