RP - Reverse Polarity Connectors simply reverses the standard connector pin (plug or socket) arrangement of the coaxial connector. In a standard coaxial connector, the Male (Plug) connector, typically has a protruding male gender pin or contact. Likewise, in a standard coaxial connector, the Female (Jack / Socket) connector, typically has a recessed female gender pin or contact.
