Nice Mount
The mount fits perfectly to my 2004 Silverado using existing fender bolt. However the mount does not work for the Wilson 1000 antenna. The flat surface to attach the antenna does not extend far enough past fender for hood to close. Hood hits the coil base on the antenna. I bought some aluminum 2 inch wide x 1/8 inch thick flat bar stock. Gonna attach it to the mount to push antenna further away from fender / hood. That is my plan anyway. I only need an additional 1/2 inch extension to allow hood closure. Wish I could upload a pic to better describe my issue.
