Product Description
874-QBJA – General Radio GR-874 to BNC Female Coaxial Adapter
The 874-QBJA is a precision between-series RF coaxial adapter designed to connect equipment using the classic General Radio Type 874 (GR-874) sexless / hermaphroditic connector to standard equipment and coaxial cables fitted with a BNC Female (jack) connector. This adapter provides a convenient way to interface legacy General Radio test equipment with more commonly used BNC-based RF systems.
The GR-874 side uses the distinctive sexless connector interface, allowing it to mate with another GR-874 connector without conventional male/female designation. The opposite end features a BNC Female jack with bayonet locking tabs, providing a secure connection to BNC Male plugs.

Typical Applications
The 874-QBJA is particularly useful when connecting older General Radio/GenRad laboratory test equipment to modern RF equipment and BNC coaxial cabling. It can be used with test instruments such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, analyzers, bridges, and other equipment incorporating the GR-874 interface.
It is also useful in RF communications, military surplus, restoration, prototyping, and laboratory environments, where technicians need to bridge the older GR-874 connector standard with the widely used BNC interface.
