K-8R9 - 9-Foot Ring Antenna Cable Assembly for 3/8-24 Thread
The mount end termination on this cable is exclusive Fire-Ring. You won't find a more trouble free, low-profile connection anywhere. All of the coax connections are internally soldered and protected from the elements. This termination is designed to fit any 1/2" (13mm) hole. It also has a built in nylon shoulder washer to keep it centered and short free. Inside the FireRing Coax Termination.
Low profile coax cable with 1/2" hole, quick on PL259 and 3/8" threaded bolt installs on most antenna mounts. The cable is designed to provide a clean look and is weather resistant. Easy to install quick-on PL259 connector to the FME connection.
This 9-foot version (K-8R9) is completely finished. Both the FireRing and the PL-259 connector (the standard coax to radio connector) is installed and encapsulated with molded stress reliefs. A 1.25" stainless steel 3/8"-24 bolt in included for attachment to existing antenna stud mounts that typically use a shorter bolt.
This cable assembly is made from top-quality RG-58A/U, Fire-Flex coaxial cable. It is intended for any single antenna installation. This includes CB, scanner, 2-meter, and 10 meter.
