LP-350A – Arc-Gas Lightning Transient Voltage Surge Protector

The LP-350A Arc-Gas Lightning Transient Voltage Surge Protector is a compact inline coaxial lightning arrestor designed to help protect sensitive radio equipment connected to outdoor antennas. Using Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) technology, the LP-350A provides a low-loss path for normal RF signals while diverting excessive transient voltage to ground when the protection threshold is exceeded.
With dual UHF female (SO-239) connectors, the LP-350A installs easily between the antenna feed line and radio equipment using standard PL-259 terminated coaxial cables. A dedicated grounding terminal provides a convenient connection to a properly installed station or earth ground.

How It Works
During normal operation, the LP-350A allows the RF signal to pass through with minimal insertion loss. If an excessive transient voltage reaches the coaxial line, the gas discharge tube conducts and provides a path toward the grounding terminal, helping divert the surge away from the connected radio equipment.
This makes the LP-350A particularly useful for installations where antennas and coaxial feed lines are exposed to outdoor electrical activity.

Installation Note

Looks Very Good
Design looks very good. Haven't had a lightening strike to prove it works but I believe it will.
