This is our most popular PL-259 connector. We sell thousands of these each year! It has a solid machined brass body with heavy silver plating, and a Teflon (PTFE) insulator. Unlike nickel plated connectors, these are easy to solder and can withstand very high temperatures.

Satisfied
The PL-259 took solder well and the dielectric did not melt under very high temperatures. For whatever reason, the UG-176 did not take solder quite as well, as though it was a different metal than the PL-259. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and the price I paid, and will likely consider future purchases of the same product. Shipping was reasonably fast.
