Snap-On Ferrite Bead for RFI EMI Suppression
Mix 31 snap-on ferrite fits around your RG-8X (MINI-8), and LMR240 coaxial cable to help reduce RFI and unwanted spurious noise. Typical installation is more than one on each end of your coax cable near the connection points. Some users may install these at the cable's mid length point. Installing three or four on each end of yoiur coaxial cable is common. Ferrite cores are used in conjunction with other noise suppression techniques such as proper grounding to help lower undesired noise levels.
A ferrite bead or ferrite choke is a passive electric component that suppresses high-frequency noise in electronic circuits. Including RFI, EMI and unwanted spurious signals. Easy to install. Self-locking sleeve snaps to hold ferrite form in place around your coaxial cable.
