An Essential Part
I had a terrible time finding someone carrying these adapters. I needed them to make a solid element 2m/70cm j-pole. I keep getting asked to make those antennas because they are tough and reliable. These adapters are an essential part. Thanks American Radio Supply.

Works Great!
This connector is perfect for building an aluminum rod J Pole antenna. Without this you will not have a durable antenna that you can make solid connection to the feed coax, and you will be able to seal this better than with simply soldering the conductors together. Mine works great, and I use it with a cargo rack mount to use as a field expedient mobile com unit with a 5 watt HT - it is amazing how well this works. Great for setting up as a field post for events, and it stows easily for transport or storage.
