SO-239 to Wire Antenna Feed Point Adapter with Wing Nut
The ARS-4880 is a heavy-duty coaxial adapter designed to provide a convenient feed point for wire antennas, including End-Fed Half-Wave (EFHW) antennas and vertical dipoles, using a standard UHF Female (SO-239) coaxial connection. The adapter features a nickel-plated brass body and a machined brass 3/8"-24 threaded stud for securing the antenna wire.
Designed for mounting to a flat surface or bracket with a 1/2-inch mounting hole, the ARS-4880 includes a white nylon reducing washer for electrical isolation, a highly corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel wing nut, a stainless steel internal star-lock washer, and a stainless steel flat washer. This hardware provides a practical, removable antenna feed-point assembly for radio communications, portable operating, and field antenna installations.
