Product Description
SO-239 - UHF-Female 4-Hole Flange Panel Mount Coaxial Connector
The American Radio Supply ARS-G511 is a UHF-Female (SO-239) 4-hole panel-mount coaxial connector designed for secure installation on radio equipment, chassis panels, enclosures, antenna projects, and RF test equipment. Its robust panel-mount design provides a reliable connection for applications using UHF (PL-259) male connectors.
The ARS-G511 features a silver-plated zinc alloy body, PTFE dielectric, and a gold-plated beryllium copper center contact. The connector incorporates a large rear solder pot to accommodate larger center conductors, including those used with larger coaxial cables such as LMR-400, RG-213, and RG-8.
The UHF-Female interface incorporates 16 machined contact points designed to provide positive mechanical engagement with mating PL-259 connectors.

Five Stars
I just got started in RTL-SDR (Software Defined Radio) and I saw an article where one could make (DIY) Ground Plane Antenna with radials using the SO-239 as a base. I purchased three of these connectors and I'm making my own Antennas... tuned to specific Radio Frequency. There SO-239's are a great help, they're inexpensive and just what I was wanting!

Exceeded Expectations
Used these to make a quarter wave ground plane antenna for our club to use for demo at county fair. Well made. Got several from another vendor and they were small and poorly constructed compared to the ones I got from American Radio Supply. Everyone was impressed with the quality and kept asking me where I got them. A friend got one off me for a radio he is building. Quick shipping and well packaged. Exceeded my expectations.
