ARS-KD2 - 3/8"X24 Antenna Quick Disconnect
There are times when it is convenient to be able to quickly remove your antenna without fumbling around for tools. Perhaps your antenna is too tall to fit into your garage, or you often park in a high theft area. Maybe you don't use your antenna every day but want to be able to snap it on in a hurry when you do want to use it. If that's the case, a quick disconnect is all that you need. The ARS-KD2 is compatible with most 3/8"-24 threaded antennas and accessories.
The ARS-KD2 model has an internal locking mechanism. This design requires more handling and machining than an external locking design, but offers weather protected components and additional security from casual thieves who may not be familiar with the push-n-twist locking mechanism. The ARS-KD2 can be used with any of our antennas up to 4ft (1.21m) in height. The upper and lower body parts are made of chrome plated machine brass. The locking pin and the spring are made from stainless steel.
