The Replacement Antenna O-Ring Seal is a small, durable rubber sealing ring designed to fit between the base of a compatible handheld radio antenna and the radio chassis. It helps provide a snug, finished fit while helping protect the antenna connector area from everyday dirt and moisture.
Designed for use with compatible many Asian handheld two-way radios and replacement antennas where an antenna-base O-ring is required.

Installation
- Remove the existing antenna from the radio.
- Place the O-ring around the antenna base.

antenna o-ring on UV5R-2 with Nogoya NA-701
antenna o-ring used on a UV5R-2 with Nogoya NA-701 Antenna. This is an O-ring, not the shaped/molded type gasket I thought it was. I saw something different in the photos than it actually is. This is a round o-ring. The misunderstanding was on my part I guess. I saw something different in the photos. But now that I have them I see they are just o-rings and the lighting played a trick on my imagination on those pictures. That being said, this fits my setup better that that tiny flat gasket that was included in my after-market antenna purchase. I fiddled with it to get it to line up just so and it is doing the proper job of sealing the radio to antenna connection.\ Bought a couple extra, price is right so why not stock a couple for later. Also got HAM Sticker with mine, bumper type. freebies are always nice! Thanks ARS.
