      Works Better Without the O-Ring

      Posted by John - KK4ITX on 16th Jan 2018

I had some trouble with the O-Ring it got so set within the housing that when I tried to remove the adapter the retaining nut inside the housing came off with the O-Ring. For what I need it works easier/better without the O-Ring.

      Quick fix to go moble

Posted by Gus on 31st May 2016

I got the SMA to BNC antenna adapter kit so I could hook up my Baofeng BF-F8HP to my 5/8 moble antenna in the car. It works great & with 8 watts I have no problems. I can also with the adapter use my 1/2 wave hot stick as it has a BNC conector. Giving me greater distance. Very happy with the adapter kit.
