UHF-Female SO-239 Bulkhead Panel Coaxial Connector
The G512 is a UHF-Female (SO-239) bulkhead styled connector and it has a large solder pot that will accommodate large center conductors like those found on LMR400.
The G512 is manufactured of a solid brass alloy body that is precision machined and silver plated for superior performance and value. It has a PTFE (Teflon) dielectric, silver plated brass​ alloy grounding lug, silver plated threaded nut, and a gold plated brass center pin. The UHF female interface has 16 machined points to ensure a proper seating of mating UHF male (PL-259) connectors.
The Delrin is a rigid, high-strength thermoplastic best for mechanical parts like gears and bearings, while Teflon (PTFE) is a low-friction, non-stick polymer ideal for applications needing chemical resistance or minimal slide friction. Delrin has a temperature resistance (up to 200°C) and higher mechanical strength, toughness, and wear resistance, while Teflon offers superior chemical inertness, higher temperature resistance (up to 260°C), and extremely low friction. The choice depends on the application's primary requirements: mechanical strength for Delrin and non-stick/low-friction performance for Teflon.
Teflon is a registered trademark, originally of DuPont, but now owned by The Chemours Company (a DuPont spinoff), which licenses the brand for its fluoropolymer materials like PTFE.

Works Great!
Broke the bulkhead SO-239 Antenna coaxial connector on my Midland MTX275. Had a hard time finding one. Used a Dremel burr to thin the aluminum wall of case. After a quick solder it works great!

bulkhead application connector
For my specific project I would have liked capability for additional panel thickness,however use of quality materials like teflon & silver & gold plating for this connector indicates a superior product.
