Perfect for making a bulkhead on 2x6 house walls These 8" bulkhead connectors fit perfectly connecting the outside antenna cable to the inside of the house.

Great Solution
I purchased an 8" barrel to use for an exterior wall penetration for my base station VHF/UHF setup. I wanted one of these pieces to have an elegant cable entrance solution along with a grounding point attachment outside of the building. I purchased pairs of oversized washers, oversized nuts, and lock washers to complete this installation. I have a copper plate that this barrel goes through on the outside of the building for grounding purposes, and the oversized nuts/washers spread out the hold force on the interior sheetrock so that the barrel can be fastened firmly in place and will have a weather seal. I use this up to 450MHz with an Amateur Radio transceiver and don't see any excess SWR problems. Works great, I will get more for my HF rig setup.

Great feedthru for 2x4 walls
Bought 4 of these 8" bulkhead connectors to feed through a NEMA box with grounding plate, my 2x4 walls, and a 1/4" plywood panel on the interior sheetrock wall of my radio room. These connectors were as advertised and I was pleased to find that the center conductor/female pins were not just open tubes which made for a more weather tight installation. Great quality and they arrived sooner than I expected.
