BNC-Female to BNC-Male Coaxial Adapter
A BNC-Female to SMA-Male coaxial adapter transmits radio frequency (RF) signals between a bayonet-style BNC Female and threaded SMA Male. It can be used to connects radios, scanners, or transceivers. Test Bench Setup: Links test gear, oscilloscopes, or signal generators with BNC interfaces to SMA-based devices or antennas. Port Saver: Attaches to expensive testing equipment to absorb the wear and tear of frequent plugging and unplugging.

Exactly What We Needed

Looks like it will do the job...
Nice to have a somewhat "local" supplier when you need just one more thing to make it all come together ! You take your new HT to an event, and need to connect to some one else's antenna installation, which happens to be a pl-259. Well, this adapter and the one for BNC to PL-259 will save your day
